At 9 weeks old, the Genesis Litter continues to make outstanding progress in confidence, manners, and early developmental training. As their breeder, my goal is not only to raise healthy Dobermans, but to prepare each puppy for a lifetime of success through intentional daily handling, socialization, and positive learning experiences.

This week, each puppy participated in individual handling and early stacking sessions lasting approximately three minutes. Using a low, manually stabilized platform approximately four inches off the ground, each puppy was encouraged to reach forward toward a hand-held food reward while maintaining a balanced, natural stance. These sessions help develop body awareness, coordination, balance, confidence, and focus while introducing puppies to the type of handling they will experience throughout their lives.

During each session, gentle tactile handling was incorporated by calmly stroking along the back, hindquarters, and tail while encouraging a relaxed, natural topline and confident posture. When appropriate, gentle guidance encouraged an upright tail carriage while the puppies remained focused on their food reward. As the puppies became more comfortable, they consistently maintained their posture and tail position with very little assistance.

Daily ear care and medication administration have also become valuable training opportunities. Following each wound care session, every puppy stood calmly and accepted handling of their ears, feet, mouth, tail, and entire body. This routine continues to build trust while preparing them for future veterinary examinations, grooming appointments, and routine care throughout their lives.

Socialization remains a top priority at King Acclimations. Each puppy is regularly handled while eating to reinforce calm, confident behavior around people and reduce resource guarding tendencies. The puppies continue to learn that human interaction during feeding is positive, safe, and rewarding.

The litter continues to thrive with daily exposure to household activity, kennel routines, outdoor play, crate time, potty training, and regular interaction with people. Their confidence, curiosity, and willingness to learn continue to grow every day, and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch each puppy’s unique personality develop.

Watching the Genesis Litter mature has been an amazing experience, and I couldn’t be more proud of how these puppies are progressing. They are becoming confident, well-socialized young Dobermans with strong foundations that will benefit them whether they become beloved family companions, performance dogs, or future show prospects.
